Quarantine might be the perfect word to describe Vanessa's life. Living in a big, metal bubble, because of a disease that is taking over the Earth. Surrounded by a fake ocean, fake sky, fake weather, and a never ending alarm that is always ringing. So why doesn't anyone else seem to care? Don't they ever think about their old lives, how much better the real world was than this?
Why is Vanessa the only one who remembers?
